HOT summer days in Los Angeles consist of hanging out at the park, sharing a funnel cake, winning at fair games, walking along the beach during sunset and posing for photos with a giant python around your neck.... not in that specific order but it just a typical day here in SoCal ;)
Big thank you to Hong and Irving for such a fun-filled Sunday afternoon! I'll see you guys in couple months for your wedding!
For those who knows me know that I consider San Francisco bay area as my 2nd home, with friends and family it has always been a place where I can go for a quick weekend getaway. Though, with all my years of visiting the bay area, I never had the chance to spend a day to photograph an engagement session.. until recently. All thanks to this sweet couple, Silvia and Richie!
There's nothing better than to celebrate a pregnancy with some maternity photos, to document how you feel, the excitement, the anticipation, the joy and the fear of upcoming labor. Thank you Cindy for being such a trooper to walk all over the park with me. on a warm Sunday morning. Hopefully one day you'll look back at the photos with you baby boy and say "look, you were in my tummy" while thinking "OMG! you were in my tummy!". Congrats on your baby boy and I wish you a smooth and happy labor!
It's amazing how a year flies by like it was yesterday since the birth of our baby boy. With a blink of an eye, Tyler is now crawling, babbling, and showing off his personality with his goofy expressions.
So to celebrate this milestone, my wife aka baby's mama went on a mission to create this party that Tyler will be able to look back upon and appreciate when he's older. The conceptualization started a month after his birth and visualization starts to kick in when my wife gradually bring more and more crafts home from her outings. The very last 2 months (Nov & Dec), nearly every night after Tyler falls asleep, she would work on each bows and bow-ties, that huge number 1 block, custom birthday cake made out of coconut milk and many of the details that you'll see in the following photos. Even though my photos did NOT do any justice to all the details and hard work she put into the party, it should at least give you some perspectives.
Special appreciation also goes to all of our happy helpers (Tyler's aunts and uncles) for everything that you guys do, Tyler is truly blessed to be surrounded by such loving family and friends.
