Engagement Photography
What an amazing adventure! Never thought I would get the opportunity to cross out so many items on my bucket list in just one 5 days trip. Witnessing the Aurora Borealis for the first time on our first night. Walking on the glacier beach (Jökulsárlón) to hiking on the glacier (Sólheimajökull), ice caving, visiting the DC-3 Wreckage Site, and site seeing everything south Iceland had to offer. It was a trip I'd never forget.
All thanks to Lynda and Serey, for allowing me to photograph their engagement and being such troopers in the cold 15 degree wind chill weather. As you can see from the photos below, Lynda trooped it out with a stunning dress and heel!!! (#PropsToLynda).
I'm never the one with words on blog posts so I will let the photos speak for themselves, but before I go, please do check out the behind the scenes shots at the bottom of the post.

So this past Saturday my wife got a call from Stephanie checking to see if I was available to photograph their engagement session next weekend... given that I had prior obligations scheduled, I respectfully declined.. then few seconds later, Stephanie goes "ok.. so how about tomorrow?" So with that, THANKS Stephanie and Brain for taking away my Sunday nap time! Just kidding :)
Last second call for an engagement session is sort of an adrenaline rush, there's no real time to prep, just pack the available gears and improvise. For Stephanie & Brian's session, the colors of the sunset proves that we picked a great day for a shoot... nap time well sacrificed :) Congrats Stephanie and Brian!
