It's already April and it's windy, cloudy, scattered shower.. I guess I should say welcome to Los Angeles! Anyhow, based on many facebook/tumblr posts from LA, (including mine: http://mobile.ronlimphotography.com/post/4446397434/now-this-is-a-beautiful-day). I figure I should a HDR of these gorgeous clouds over Mtn Wilson and San Gabriel Valley! So here ya go:

The Friendship Bell
Bronze bell, stone pavilion, and traditional Korean architecture.. if you don't know any better, any one would think this was taken in Korea or some where within Asia. Well.. say hello to Angel's Gate Park in San Pedro, California! The bell is call the "Korean Bell of Friendship" or "The Belfry of Friendship", presented by the Republic of Korea to US in 1976. (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Bell_of_Friendship) Apparently this is quite a spot for photographers of all level, during the 30+mins we spent at the spot, we saw a portrait session, landscape photographers and even some amateur shooting his girlfriend on a motor bike...

Some pictures to start the weekend
Another busy week with work & lots of errands... unfortunately, from the look of it the fiancee and I won't have much time to rest up this weekend, but at least there'll be some photo opportunities so I'll be sure to post them here or on the facebook fanpage! For now, here are some pictures from our lunch @ San Antonio Winery
Photo(s) of the day: Heritage Park
Happy Friday everyone! This week sure has been an interesting week, and I'm just glad that it's Friday finally! The picture of the day was taken from our walk through of Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs, CA. It's one of our top choice on ceremony sites for our wedding this year, beside the fact that it's unique (windmill, bird aviary, railroad exhibit and tongva exhibit.. O.o), it makes good photo opportunities. We still have few kinks to sort out before making the decision so for now please enjoy the pictures!
Food food food!!!
Ok, if you've checked out my portfolio already then you probably noticed that I don't promote one single type of photography. I love tinkering into all sort of photography, and some people may say it's bad business practice but at the end of the day learning new things and making mistakes (and learning from it) can only improve one's self.
Anyhow, having a fiancee that's a foodie sure helps with food photography.. here are few shots of our dinner at Curry House last night:
(ok ok, the picture below is not food but it's nice decoration... now keep scrolling)
Seafood Stone Grilled Curry Rice
Chili Shrimp & Spinach Spagetti (my favorite)
Every little girl is a princess
Sneak peak of Victoria's 4th birthday extravaganza! Victoria sure loves her little tiara, she kept coming to me and asked to take more picture of it (those pictures will be posted later), which I happily obliged. It was a party of LOTS of kids screaming, running around and playing games. Hectic would be one of many words to describe the party but when you're a kid and have the freedom to party... you PARTY! After all, wouldn't you?
