HDR Friday: Anticipation

Growing up in LA you get accustom to the aggressive drivers and daily rush hours, but it's definitely nothing compares to the streets of Manhattan.  It would be the one place I would hate to drive in, but then again I haven't yet traveled to China or India yet.

P.S. - I've once hear that 95% of life is anticipation, and that couldn't be more true for me.  A whole year of planning will be for one single day to kick off the next chapter of our lives next week.    So if you don't see any posts from me next week then it only means that I'm off getting married!

P.P.S. - Happy Friday!

HDR Friday: On the road to...

Too bad there's no business in photographing a bachelor (or bachelorette) parties, but I'm sure there's a good reason for it though.  Anyhow, by the time any of you read this, I'm probably getting ready or on my way off to Vegas this weekend.  No DSLR to record the event but I'm sure I'll have plenty using my mobile, after all it is my own bachelor party! So in celebration of a weekend of drunken fun, here's a HDR sunset shot taken at the Nevada/California border.

HDR Friday: Symmetrical Playhouse

It's been a while since I had the opportunity to create a symmetrical (w/ the help of photoshop) HDR.  The very last one I did was this one of the famous Sydney Opera House.  So for those of you whole like symmetry and HDR, this one is for you. Photo taken at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.

Event | San Gabriel Mission Playhouse Photo Shoot | 07.31.2011

Throughout the last 15+ years that I lived in the San Gabriel Valley, I've only been here only once for a school play.  So when I saw the invite for this photo event, I was excited to check out this gem located in the heart of a historic neighborhood!

The event started with Steve talking about the history of the Playhouse, its architecture and some interesting ghost stories... I guess like what one attendee photog said, "everything old have ghost stories behind it".

So here are some of my shots through out the day, special thanks to Steve and the folks at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, and everyone at ReadyArtwork.com for setting up this event!
