For today's photo post, let me introduce you, my best friend, my partner in crime, my love and now, my wife... After months of wedding planning stress, I got to say it was amazing to see how everything comes together. It also made me appreciate and realize all the things our family and friends had sacrificed just to celebrate our wedding day with us. Here's some wise words from my wife:

"I'm a touched by all the kindness, love and support we've received through our family and friends throughout this process. Be it thru actions, words, or just being present in our lives, it moves us knowing what great people surround us. Thank you all!"

After couple weeks of hiatus, I'm back! After all, I needed some time to recover from my Vegas bachelor party. We also did an amazing Fashion Editorial Shoot last sunday that I can't wait to share (hopefully in the next few weeks once the art director approves it). With that said, I'll resume the Mobile Monday sessions and HDR Fridays starting next week. For today's post, let me present to you my awesome and supportive bride to be... can't believe it's only 3 weeks away, let the countdown began!

Griffith Observatory Engagement | Trinh + Ernesto | 06.04.2011

Griffith Observatory has always been one of my favorite spot in LA ever since jr. high. My buddies and I always tend to come over here to relax and hang out, feeling like we're on top of the world. During one of my email conversations with Trinh, she mentioned that this was one of the place that Ernesto had took her on a date! By all means I can't blame Ernesto, looking below you have an amazing view of Los Angeles, looking across the horizon you see the infamous Hollywood sign, and if you're looking for stars they have these ginormous telescopes within to look above towards the sky. Anyhow, before I digress, we had an awesome time shooting along the hiking trails and all over the Observatory. Trinh & Ernesto were such troopers hiking up the trails, fighting the tourist crowds, and jumping on top the ledges.

It's that time of the year folks! The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and well it's spring time! Ok, I'm not really that excited as I sound.. in fact it's allergy season for me, so it's definitely NOT my favorite time of the year. Last weekend, I toughed it out and went on a little adventure down to Carlsbad and San Diego with the fiancee. Luckily the allergy didn't kick in, so I was able to have some fun taking these photos. The flower field in Carlsbad is open 'til May 8th, so head out there if you haven't already!

Such a fun portrait session as I got to utilize my home strobist setup. Chris was such a good sport going through different wardrobes and poses, we both came to realization that modeling is much more difficult than it seems on TV. Chris is a talented deejay out of Orange County, check out some of his mixes here and if you're a party go'er make sure to check him out at hot spots like Envy Lounge, Sharkeez & Sutra.
